Dear Mrs Ngo, dear Mr Mira,

Herewith we would like to thanks you very much for the amazing holiday you organised for us! The two weeks were so full of impressions that we have the feeling we have been away for four weeks… The local organisation was extremely smooth (essential for such a full programme). Our drivers were always on time and the guides were extremely friendly, knowledgable and amazingly complementary in terms of character, experience and background.

Hanoi was a great start to the holidays. La Siesta is elegant, has a great location and a fantastic restaurant. The day tour with our guide Son was very good, he is very motivated, speaks perfect English. We learned a lot about daily life in Vietnam from him.

Halong Bay was a bit of a let-down for us. The weather wasn’t great, our cabin was small for 2 people (and we were 3…), the locations could have been visited in one day (not two) and Ti Top island is mass-tourism hell, the absolute low of the programme.

Siem Reap and Angkor were then (fortunately) the absolute highlight for us. We wished we could have stayed longer. Our guide was amazing, full of knowledge, and organised our visits in such a way that we never had to queue, always taking the lesser known entrances.

Saigon was another contrasting stopover. We had a great time with Anh, who is very kind and full of humour. The programme was full (but not too full) of impressions. The food tour was another highlight, unfortunately my daughter was too impressed by traffic and did not join…

The Mekong boat tour was cool and very relaxing. Mr Wuang was another amazing guide, especially when he proudly showed us around his home town. The crew was extremely discrete and breakfast was amazing. We would have expected to see more nature on this trip though and the visit to the floating market was a little disappointing since our (relatively big) boat could not get close to the action.

Pho Quoc and Cassia Cottage were the perfect place to rest and reflect on our trip. The room, pools and restaurant were really nice.

Ideally we would have preferred to have had more space in some of the hotels. But apart from that, we are really happy with your perfect and impressive organisation. We will certainly recommend you further (in fact we already have…).

Best wishes,
Harmen Hoogland
